This is how I’ve spent a lot of Saturday nights for the past 4 years. Wherever you live, there is probably a local dirt track nearby. Check it out sometime.

We went last year, but somehow let the summer slip away this year. We’ve got a track, although it’s paved, about 10 minutes away. Lots of action every Saturday night.

Paved tracks are fun, but if you ever have the chance to check out a dirt track I highly recommend it. My local track is a 3/8 mile clay oval, and these guys can have average speeds in the 90mph range, all while driving sideways and occasionally with only 3 wheels on the ground.
